Classes

For Every body.

for Every level.

Every class is designed to meet you where you are today, with modifications and amplifications offered throughout. Our advice? Don't overthink the class name. Find a teacher whose energy you connect with. That connection matters more than the label on the schedule.

You're not home without the om

We teach fitness. We teach yoga. We teach them together on purpose.

Here's what most fitness studios won't tell you: your body can only push as hard as it can recover. Lactic acid builds. Fascia tightens. Muscles shorten. Range shrinks. And eventually, the thing you love doing starts hurting you — not because you're doing it wrong, but because you're only doing half of it.

That's where the yoga comes in. Not as a cooldown. Not as a rest day. As medicine.

Yoga is how the body processes what fitness asks of it. It's how your nervous system comes back down. It's how your joints stay open, your muscles stay long, and your next class feels better than your last one. The science is simple: movement without recovery is a debt your body will collect on. We'd rather you never get that bill.

So yes, we have barre and pilates and sculpt — and they'll challenge you. But we also have yin, restorative, sound bath, meditation, and deep stretch — and they'll change you. The magic is in both. That's The Movement Concept™, and it's the reason everything we offer lives under one roof.

You don't have to love your yoga yet. You just have to be willing to try the thing your body didn't know it was missing.

Classes

Every class is designed to meet you where you are today. Here's what to expect in each of classes you'll find at the movement in Allentown and Bordentown.

Deep Stretch

Gentle, grounding, and spacious. Each movement linked to the breath, each pose entered gradually. Accessible to any body, any day. Calm the mind, soften the edges, find range where there was bracing.

Movement in Yin

A passive practice designed to access deeper layers of fascia. Seated and supine poses held three to five minutes. Yin teaches you how to really listen — no distracted version of stillness, no jumping around. Just presence, and what you find when you stop trying to escape it.

Barre Movement

A mix of pilates, ballet, yoga, and aerobic training, choreographed to upbeat music. Barre, mini-balls, strength bands, and small hand weights to sculpt, tone, and stretch. Lean muscle. Strength with stamina.

Mat Pilates

A strengthening and lengthening practice that centers the core and trains the whole body. Classical Pilates Method blended with variations, props, and light weights. Modifications offered throughout — challenging but always safe.

Your practice, wherever you are

You don't have to be in the studio to be in the room. We offer real-time live stream classes and on-demand recordings so the practice travels with you — whether that's your living room, a hotel, or the back porch.

live stream

Live stream classes happen in real time via Zoom. Your teacher is live, the class is live, and you're moving right alongside the studio. Here's how it works:

  • Sign up at least one hour before class starts to guarantee your spot and receive your Zoom link.

  • Make sure Zoom is downloaded on your device before class.

  • When it's time, click the link — your teacher will let you in from the waiting room and walk you through any props you'll need.

  • From there, it's the same class. Same energy. Just a different room.

on-demand recordings

Want to practice on your own time? Sign up for a recording the same way you'd sign up for any class. Request as many recordings as you want in a given week and start building your own movement library for the days when your schedule doesn't match ours.

  • We'll email you the link within 24 hours of the scheduled class time.

  • Make sure Zoom is downloaded on your device before class.

  • It's yours for the next seven days — watch it once, watch it every morning, come back to it at midnight.

FAQs

Answers to Common Questions

What kinds of classes do you offer?

All levels, all styles. Every class is built to meet you where you are, with modifications and amplifications offered throughout. Our advice? Don't overthink the class name — find a teacher whose energy you connect with. That connection matters more than the label on the schedule.

Do you offer heated classes?

Yes, we have one heated room in Allentown only. Our heated classes run up to about 100°F with no humidity — warm enough to open you up, not so much that you're swimming through it.

Can I take class from home?

Yes — we Livestream (LS) select classes in real time via Zoom so you can practice from wherever you are. Sign up at least one hour before class starts to guarantee your spot, and we'll send you the class link. Your teacher will let you in from the waiting room and walk you through any props you'll want on hand. Same class, same teacher, same energy — just a different room.

Do you offer class recordings?

Yes. Sign up for a recording the same way you'd sign up for any class, and we'll email it to you within 24 hours of the scheduled class time. Once it lands in your inbox, it's yours for the next seven days — practice once, practice every day, practice at 6am or 10pm. Our hope is that you build your own rotating library of classes to come back to, for whatever the moment calls for.

I'm brand new. Which class should I take?

Any of them. Really. Every class welcomes every body, and your teacher will offer options so you can take the shape that feels right today. If you want a recommendation, reach out — we love pointing new folks toward the right first class.

What should I wear?

Comfortable workout clothes and layers. Your body temperature might shift during class, and you'll want the option to peel off or pile on.

What should I bring?

Just water and yourself. We have a limited supply of mats, props, and equipment on-site — if you have your own mat, please bring it so there's enough to go around.

Can I use my phone in the studio?

Phones are allowed but must be on silent. We gently ask that you keep them tucked away before and during class. This is your time to drop in, and the person next to you deserves that same quiet.

Respect the room, respect the teacher, respect yourself.

How does pricing work?

We offer a mix of memberships and class passes delivered through MindBody — all-inclusive or à la carte, depending on how you like to move.

Can I bring my kids?

Children 8 and older are welcome to practice alongside a parent. They pay the regular class rate — we don't have a separate kid's price. Younger children can't join class, and we're not able to offer babysitting during your practice.

Do you offer prenatal or mommy-and-me classes?

We do not offer these classes.

We want you well
